Shattered Isles
Land of Misfits & Lost Souls
Shattered Isles looks like paradise by day.
It is a warm, modern town surrounded by thick forest, hidden caves, and a glowing beach. People move there for fresh starts, affordable apartments, cozy homes, good schools, and small-town peace. There is a theater, amusement park, bowling alley, arcade, roller rink, salons, tattoo shop, grocery store, gas station, hospital, police station, fire station, Town Hall, resturants and a witchy little shop tucked between normal businesses.
To outsiders, it feels like the perfect place to disappear.
But Shattered Isles was never meant for humans.
Long before people moved in, the town belonged to witches, spirits, vampires, shapeshifters, werewolves, sea creatures, cursed families, and ghosts with unfinished business. It became a refuge for the unwanted — a home for misfits and lost souls.
By day, the town pretends to be normal.
By night, the truth comes out.
The forest paths shift. The caves glow. The ocean whispers names. The amusement park runs without power. The drive-in plays people’s memories instead of movies, sometimes. The arcade games steal secrets. Ghosts skate at the roller rink, and shadows move through the streets like they own them.
Locals know the rules:
Be inside before dark.
Never follow music into the woods.
Never enter the caves alone.
Never answer when the ocean calls your name.
Never stay for the last movie at the drive-in.
The humans do not know these rules yet.
They think the locals are strange for closing businesses before sunset. They do not understand why the witchy shop has iron bells above the door, why the schools rush students home early, or why everyone gets nervous when the town suddenly goes quiet.
Town Hall knows the truth. Beneath it are records of curses, missing people, supernatural bloodlines, and warnings from the original founders. The hospital has a hidden wing for things human doctors cannot explain. The police handle more than crime. The fire station answers calls about cursed flames, portals, and houses that scream.
Now humans are moving into Shattered Isles faster than ever, and the supernatural residents are divided.
Some want to protect them.
Some want them gone.
Some see them as prey.
And deep beneath the hidden caves, an ancient broken seal is cracking open again. Something old is waking up, and the nights are growing more dangerous.
Shattered Isles is no longer just a hiding place.
It is becoming a battlefield.
And once the town claims you, it does not let go.
Welcome to Shattered Isles — where the lost find home, and the night finds you.
